Commissioned by charity CW+ as part of their Arts in health programme. Her previous project for Chelsea & Westminster hospital (London) was so successful, Madeleine was approached by the charity to work on this brief for the newly refurbished West Middlsex Hospital.

Madeleine created a series of intriguing artworks to illustrate the walls, windows and lightboxes of the paediatric A&E department. Using the local area as inspiration, Madeleine created large-scale digital illustrations based on local landmarks in the West London borough of Hounslow. Creating detailed illustrations to distract and engage children as they wait and receive treatment.

The final artwork was printed onto vinyl and applied to the hospital walls, windows and ceiling lightboxes.
